Scott Johnston founded Crossroads Refrigeration in 1988, shortly after serving his apprenticeship. Launching Crossroads Refrigeration as a true start-up company out of the back of his vehicle, Scott quickly made a name for himself in the industry. His willingness to take on complicated projects, legendary work ethic, and commitment to customer service, elevated the company to an elite level, setting the standards for which it operates under today.

Welcome to Crossroads Refrigeration
Crossroads Refrigeration specializes in the installation, service, and maintenance of cold storage facilities and supermarkets. We provide refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and preventative maintenance services to large commercial retailers. Some of our current clients include: Wal-Mart, Loblaws, Whole Foods, Organic Garage and Coppa’s Fresh Market.
In addition to 24/7 emergency service, we also provide construction and renovation services. Our full-scale construction team is willing to manage the logistics of complicated jobs, and is widely regarded as one of the best in the industry.
Crossroads Refrigeration operates from our own 10,000-square-foot facility in Burlington, Ontario. We service locations all over Ontario, with the majority of our customers operating in the GTA and Golden Horseshoe.

Dennis Nixon – Service Manager
Dennis Nixon started at Crossroads Refrigeration in 1988, right out of college. He quickly became one of the brightest technical minds in the industry, making him a natural fit alongside Scott. Dennis manages our entire roster of qualified service technicians and always puts the customer first.
Dave Christie – Construction Manager
Dave Christie joined the Crossroads team in 1996 after a successful career in the heavy mechanical contracting industry. His primary responsibility is managing the installation crews, and ensuring all TSSA applications and other associated details are handled professionally and accurately.

Maintenance
We offer customized preventative maintenance plans to avoid breakdowns and ensure equipment performance is maximized. Our mobile pressure-washing unit is always ready to blast away the fall leaves from condenser units, or eliminate the spring pollen/airborne debris in the spring. Quarterly maintenance plans are recommended, but we’ll customize any maintenance plan to suit the needs of our clients.
Construction and Renovation
Whether it’s a new build, or a renovation project, our construction team is up to the task. Some of the services offered include: estimating and cost management, developing a detailed plan of work, site coordination, supervision of sub-trades, sourcing parts and materials, and safety documentation and compliance with building code regulations.

We have a friendly and qualified office staff to receive, dispatch and schedule your needs in priority. You will never have to leave a voicemail. Our technicians always arrive in a timely fashion to emergency calls, and will do everything possible to help your store avoid product loss. All of our technicians are fully certified and prepared to handle any refrigeration or HVAC issues they encounter.
